After School Developemnt Programs — Overview
Give your child 90 minutes each week to ride with friends, build confidence and real trail skills with PMBIA‑qualified coaches. Small groups are matched by ability (Beginner → Advanced/Race) across Noosa, Caloundra, Gympie and Parklands, 3:45–5:15 pm during school terms. Welcoming vibe, clear progression.
At Bike On, our mountain bike coaching is fun, low‑pressure, supportive, and inclusive. We help kids ride with friends, build confidence, and progress their skills under the guidance of PMBIA‑qualified coaches. Shredders caters to all skill levels — from first‑time trail riders through to advanced/race riders — with low coach‑to‑rider ratios and groups matched by ability.

Is My Child Ready? (Minimum Standard)
For safety and enjoyment, riders must be able to do all of the following before joining:
- Descend a green (easiest) MTB trail while standing on the pedals (neutral/ready position).
- Roll over small trail obstacles (e.g., roots/rocks) without stopping.
- Come to a controlled stop using hand brakes — without sitting down, dragging feet, or skidding.
- Ride a geared bike (no training wheels or coaster/foot brakes) on easy dirt both up and down a gentle slope.
Not quite there yet? Ask us about Learn‑to‑Ride or pre‑trail confidence options to get them ready.

Wet Weather, Cancellations & No‑Shows (Please read)
- Pricing assumes 7 of 10 weeks will run each term. If conditions allow, we’ll run all 10 weeks at no extra cost (effectively up to 3 bonus/make‑up sessions built into the term).
- We aim to deliver as many sessions as possible and do ride in rain when safe to do so. Severe weather (e.g., storms, unsafe trail conditions) may require postponement, modification, or cancellation.
- Your booking reserves your rider’s space for the entire term. Like most season‑based team sports, term pricing does not include credits, refunds, or alternative classes for weeks missed for any reason.
- Due to strict capacity limits, we generally cannot move participants between programs to make up missed/cancelled sessions.
- There are no credits or refunds for unused portions of term or subscription programs where riders cannot or choose not to attend remaining lessons.
