Noosa is home to the Wooroi trail network — one of the best MTB trail networks in Queensland! Easily accessible by a short 5 minute ride from Bike On’s Noosaville shop, why not rent an MTB and turn your Noosa holiday into a mountain bike adventure?

Treat yourself and rent an e-MTB or jump on a more traditional Norco Fluid dual suspension bike. For the hardtail fans, our Merida Bigrocks are perfect for the cross-country trails including beginners exploring the lower trails or the abundance of gravel trails around Noosa.

Tewantin National Park

Five minutes ride from Bike On. These are widely considered some of, if not the, best MTB trails in SE Queensland. You will find heaps of purpose built single track weaving through lush sub-tropical rain forest. The Tewantin trails have a very high sand content and are absolutely amazing after rain… the perfect activity on one of those not so “beachy” days. With fast flowing machine built trails, technical climb trails, an excellent range of downhill trails with well thought out jump lines, and a wide range of gentle scenic trails, this park appeals to all level of riders. Vehicle access to both the upper and lower trailheads ensures easy access and the option of shuttle runs for the ultimate day of freeriding.

Parklands Reserve

Located just a few minutes from Nambour Yandina or Bli Bli, Parklands Mountain Biking Trails has 67 trails with over 30km of twisty singletrack that takes you through dense forest areas. Parklands is the Coast’s best destination for technical riding…. Brace yourself for numerous stream crossings, rocky climbs, steep switchbacks, and fast technical descents all through a stunning setting of lush green undergrowth and ferns.

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for “Fluffy” the friendly hand raised Emu who calls these trails home.

Sugarbag Road Trails

The Sugar Bag trails are located along Sugar Bag Road, just a few minutes ride or drive from the center of Caloundra, making them one of the easiest to access trail networks on the Sunshine Coast.

With 21 trails over 11 km, the Sugar Bag Trails are perfect for riders of all abilities including beginners. This trail network offers a set of tight technical loops with lots of features such as bridges, see-saws, log rollovers, ramps and various jumps. The Sugar Bag Mountain Bike Trails Pump Track is easy to access and perfect for learners having fun or experts honing their bike handling skills.

Victory Heights Trails

Located just a few minutes ride from Gympie’s town center, Victory Heights Recreational Trails would have to be one of the most under-rated trail networks in SE Queensland. It’s limited altitude means the climbs are short and easy. Well-maintained by a small band of dedicated volunteers, you will find 36km of mostly beginner and intermediate trails with meticulously maintained berms and jump lines suitable for a wide variety of riders. If you’re looking to travel a bit further and wanting to avoid huge climbs, Victory Heights is well worth a look.
