The Noosa Biosphere Trails are currently undergoing upgrades in line with the Noosa Trails Masterplan.

Noosa Biosphere Trail Network
The Noosa Biosphere Trails weave through the heart of the Noosa hinterland, offering a diverse and scenic trail network enjoyed by walkers, runners, horse riders and mountain bike riders.
Passing through eucalypt forests, rainforest pockets, rolling farmland and hinterland peaks, the trails showcase the rich natural and cultural landscapes of the Noosa Biosphere โ from quiet rural valleys to elevated lookouts with sweeping coastal views.
Designed as a shared-use network, the trails range from short, gentle journeys suitable for beginners through to long, challenging day adventures for experienced trail users.
Key Noosa Trail Network Sections
Cooroora Trail
A shady and relaxed hinterland journey beneath Mt Cooran and Mt Cooroora, winding through forest and grazing land. Ideal for an out-and-back adventure with welcoming hinterland towns at either end.

Yurol Trail
A peaceful trail following creeks and forest corridors through National Park and Environmental Reserves. The route offers a sense of quiet exploration and connects naturally with the lakeside setting of the Noosa Botanic Gardens.

Woondum Trail
A rewarding hinterland challenge linking Cooran and Kin Kin, featuring long climbs, descents and expansive rural and coastal views. Highlights include rainforest sections and scenic lookout rest areas.

Wahpunga Trail
The backbone of the Noosa Biosphere Trails, this long-distance route traverses rolling green hills, tall open eucalypt forest and rainforest before finishing at the shores of Lake Macdonald beside the Noosa Botanic Gardens. Often combined with the Woondum Trail for multi-day adventures.

Kurui Trail
A gentle and accessible trail with open views to Mt Cooroora and Mt Cooroy, offering a relaxed hinterland experience and a popular option for casual outings.

Weyba Trail
