Program Overview
Spend a full day riding Noosa’s five most epic descents — supported by our PMBIA-qualified coaches.
Begin with two top-to-bottom runs through the Wooroi Trail Network, then relax as we shuttle you to Woondum National Park for three huge descents dropping into Kin Kin, Cooran, and Mother Mountain. The day finishes with a refreshing swim at the Mother Mountain rock pools.
Age Requirements
While there is no strict age requirement, this program typically suits riders 10–17 years old.
Other ages are welcome — please contact us prior to booking to discuss suitability.
Skill Requirements
This is an Upper Intermediate → Advanced program.
Riders must:
- Confidently descend intermediate (blue) trails at speed and in full control
- Handle berms, small drops, rocky/steep sections without dismounting
- Climb up to 2 km continuously without walking
- Be regular, confident MTB riders with sufficient stamina for repeated descents and climbs
While the day is primarily downhill-focused, all riders must be able to pedal to access the descents.
Bike Requirements
Bikes must be safe, durable, and appropriate for high-speed riding on rough terrain.
Minimum & Recommended Bike Specification
- Functional front suspension (rear suspension strongly recommended)
- Disc brakes in excellent working order
- Well-adjusted, smoothly shifting gears
- Tyres with good tread suitable for rough trails
- 26″ wheels or larger
- 24″ may be accepted in some cases — please contact us prior to booking
- Bike must be well maintained and recently serviced
Important Safety Note
Bikes with:
- Poorly performing brakes
- Contaminated rotors
- Damaged components
- Unsafe setup
will not be permitted to participate, and no refunds will be issued for unsafe bikes brought to the session.
Other Equipment Requirements
Compulsory
- Australian Standards–approved helmet
- Full-face strongly recommended
- Enclosed footwear
- MTB-specific shoes strongly recommended
- Water and a way to carry it
- A spare tube suitable for your wheels (including tubeless)
Strongly Recommended
- Full-face helmet
- Knee and elbow pads
- Full-finger gloves
Wet Weather & Cancellations
- This event will proceed in wet weather unless conditions are unsafe
- Please bring appropriate wet-weather gear if rain is forecast
- If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, a full refund is provided
- If a participant chooses not to ride due to weather, no refund applies
- However, at our discretion, we may offer a credit toward a future session
