Noosa is a great place to MTB with an awesome range of tracks. You can start with Tewantin State Forest, although a small forest it is still renowned for some excellent single track rides. The Noosa MTB crew has formed a working group with QPW to help maintain the tracks in this forest click here for more info about the Noosa working group.

Noosa MTB crew & visitors meet at Wooroi day use area in Tewantin State Forest most Saturday mornings at 6:30am for about a 2 hour MTB ride. This is not a club ride, just a group of MTB'ers meeting for a ride, so there is no insurance cover.

An exciting mountain bike endurance event on the USM Events calendar; the Noosa Enduro is a hard ride that demands fitness and strength– but that’s the adventure.

Please make sure you are ON TIME for the rides as indicated THAT is the RIDE AWAY time so get there 15 minutes before hand for your chit chat etc….if you are late you are holding up the ENTIRE group (sometimes up to 40 people these days !!!)
Ride Gradings :
Grade 1: Fairly flat, wide and smooth track or gravel road. Suitable for all first-time riders/family. Grade 2: Gentle climbs and easily avoidable obstacles. You couldn't ride it in your sleep, but most beginners will still enjoy 1-2 hours
Grade 3: Challenging riding with steeper slopes and obstacles, possibly on a narrow track with poor traction. Requires riding experience and moderate fitness.2-3 hours
Grade 4: A mixture of long or steep climbs, loose track surfaces, more difficult obstacles. Good fitness and bike skills req. 2-4 hours
Grade 5: Long hard climbs, steeper grades, sharp corners, some tricky obstacles. Some sections are easier to walk. Very good fitness and bike skills required. 4 hours or more.
Ride Info :
First Sunday of each month is our Social ride where NON MEMBER riders of ALL abilities are welcome as long as you have a bike in good working order and an approved helmet and water. We ride in all weather (within reason !!)
