Bicycle Maintenance Workshops

 

Our workshops are an interactive "hands on" way to increase your knowledge in the field of bicycle mechanics. To meet the needs of ongoing technological advancements in bicycle design and componentry we have split our maintenance workshops into three main levels.

 

Beginner-

This workshop will teach the fundamentals of maintenance on a base level bicycle design including; correct bike setup, cleaning, lubricating, basic fault diagnosis, basic adjustments, pre ride safety check, wheel removal and puncture repair.

 

Intermediate-

We delve further into the tech heads realm with a workshop aimed at taking that beginner knowledge further. Exploring the do's and dont's of setup, fault diagnosis and servicing. Expect to learn how to clean and rebuild a headset, hubs, bottom bracket, assess your drive train wear, replace your brake pads and adjust your gears correctly. This workshop also looks at repairs in the field and the tricks of the trade that help you limp home with damaged equipment.

 

Advanced-  

Look at cutting edge technologies and designs. Learn how to diagnose advanced faults, replace gear cabling, setup suspension correctly, bleed hydraulic disc brakes, replace your drivetrain, replace a pivot bearing are all topics covered in this advanced workshop.
