Roger Newton - Bike On Managing Director

Roger has been cyclist for more than 40 years, starting with a touring club then velodrome and road racing circuits, he later discovered mountain bikes and has competed in both national and state level events.

Equipped with a substantial cycling background. Roger is a Cycle Skills coach, levels one, Certificate 4 outdoor leader (MTB remote) and a teacher at Sunshine Coast Tafe. Roger has a blue card, first aid qualifications and extensive experience in coaching and working with large groups of people, young and old. Roger leads the team at Bike On Australia.

Roger is also part of many community groups including, Qld chair person for Cycle Tourism Australia's project manager, Sunshine Coast council's Noosa trail Network MTB group, Sunshine Coast Bicycle Referance Group and Queensland's Parks & Wildlife Services- Noosa trail care working group. Roger is also a member of the Sunshine Coast Cycling Club, Bushranger's Mountain Bike Club & Noosa Trailblazers.
